We also offer private one-on-one casting lessons for those folks wanting to improve a particular phase of their casting or learn a new cast.  This is a very popular option for anglers planning a trip to a destination where the conditions demand different skills than they use on their home water.  Double hauls, distance casts, and advanced line management are some of the skills we can help you with. Some people just book a session with us as a preseason tuneup to save time and prevent frustration on the water.

 

Another popular request is to learn two-handed or spey casting.  This discipline is hundreds of years old but has experienced a huge resurgence over the past couple of decades.  It is an extremely effective way to swing flies on larger rivers where long casts are demanded and line management is critical.  We're happy to work with you on anything related to casting!
